FOR WHOM?
The program is intended for emerging choreographic artists, that is to say choreographers who have created between 0 and 5 pieces.
For Caribbean artists, emergence is not mandatory; the Phare program reserves the right to support any artist from the territory.
No aesthetic criterion is imposed; Phare is above all committed to supporting the uniqueness of each approach and to responding to the concrete needs of those who build their own path.
While it pays particular attention to Caribbean creation, the support program is also committed to discovering artists from all backgrounds, fostering diversity and possible exchanges within Phare itself.
AN ACCESSIBLE AND SUPPORTIVE PROGRAM
Phare was designed in a spirit of public interest.
- The majority of the services offered are free of charge, thanks to public and private funding that support the program and the structure.
- For certain dissemination projects, a moderate commission (10 to 15% of the transfer cost) is applied, ensuring the sustainability of the program while respecting the interests of the artists.
Thus, Phare places its resources at the service of the companies, ensuring that the support remains a concrete, sustainable, and beneficial asset.
AN AMBITION: SUPPORTING THE CREATION OF TOMORROW
Phare aims to be a space for growth and new perspectives for emerging artists.
By placing listening, cooperation, and structuring at the heart of its action, the program contributes to the rise of a new generation of choreographic artists and actively participates in the enrichment of the cultural landscape.
