EVA JULLIERE
Biarritz, France (Mainland)
Eva Julliere began her career as a performer in 2017. She has danced for various choreographers in France and abroad. As a performer, she has collaborated with Martin Harriague, Manon Bouquet, Alina Belyagina (Germany), Compagnie Boukousou, Compagnie SO.K, Compagnie Didier Théron, and Compagnie Groupe Noces.
Alongside her work as a performer, she develops her own choreographic universe. She performs solo pieces in diverse contexts museums, exhibitions, private dinners, experimental performances as well as in music videos (Olivia Merilahti – The Dø, Royal Pantone). She is also the founder of Collectif AFTER, created in 2022, through which she presented her first work, After. In 2024, she decided to establish RUT by Eva Julliere, under the non-profit structure Club de Jour.
Eva Julliere is one of those choreographers who blend aesthetics to create a singular movement language. As both choreographer and performer, her intuitive and sensitive approach draws on the raw power of the body, the authenticity, and the poetry of gesture. She seeks physical deprogramming in order to release new capacities and physical openness.
Inspired by life stories, she builds universes where mental and physical boundaries are constantly crossed and disrupted. The stage becomes a playground, a place of transformation, where gravity, perception, and narrative are continuously reinvented. One question remains: is there really a limit? For her, contemporary dance is an art in motion, in constant dialogue with its time.

RUT
The company’s new project, RUT, is a choreographic exploration of the realities experienced by many people today. It reflects on what it means to be a single woman in a world where sexuality is often reduced to rapid, dehumanized consumption. What does it mean to be single today, when the discourse of independence collides with a visceral need for connection?
Has freedom killed love?
This creation delves into the frenzied pursuit of immediate pleasures, shaped by a hypersexualized society. It also questions the rejection of imposed norms, through movements of resistance and liberation. Ultimately, it seeks to understand freedom itself, by redefining sexuality on personal, intimate, and collective levels.
RUT unfolds as a structured journey of questioning a quest without definitive answers, yet driven by the desire to open a space for reflection. It is an intimate and sensitive exploration, a thirst for meaning, truth, and beauty.
It is raw, personal, political.
